This image was obviously made in the Smokies near Asheville NC. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park established in 1934, and currently has over 11 million visits per year, not to mention it's the most visited national park in the United States.

When making this image, it was a rushing effort to quickly get on high ground to capture the sunset that illuminated the colors of the clouds draping the hills and reflections of this awesome moment.
